I have the taste of metal in my mouth..and no matter what I do?

Question:
to try and get rid of it it doesn't go away..what could it be?

Answers:
Not enough food.
well I've always heard that fear tastes like metal.maybe you're afraid of something.
Do you find yourself peeing & drinking more than usual? A dry mouth & metal taste are both symptoms of diabetes. Try cutting down on sugar for a few days & see what difference it makes. Also, a dry mouth will contribute to bad breath.
apparently you're not the only one with this problem:

If you're taking or have recently taken an antibiotic, that could be the cause. Talk to your dr.
I'd see a doctor or dentist.
Well sometimes a rotting tooth can cause weird tastes in your mouth. Try seeing a dentist, if you have fillings ask him to take a look.
