How long does a lip piercing appropriate to restore to health?

Okay, I am having a friend pierce my lip wreak I want it done really bad and my mom keep telling my thats its only just a phase that I'm going through when I've wanted it for close to a year, and she won't let me draw from one.

Also my work won't let me hold visible piercings, they hold to be covered or taken out.

So basically I enjoy to be able to cast a shadow on it from my mom for the entire healing process, or at lowest possible until I have it for two days, exact I'll be leaving for my dads two days once its done.

Anyone hold any suggestions?

Answers:    I have my lip peirced , it take about 2 weeks to fully make well , but.... you cant leave it out for more than a few hours once its heal or it starts to close straight away , I had mine done only over 10 years ago so you can say mines outstandingly healed and even presently if its out more than 48 hours boy does it hurt getting it back surrounded by , I have to force it through every time,

you can achieve really tiny tiny pretty dimonds or balls that hold a flat like disk wager on on the inner lip ,they are hardly visible to wear if your trying to hide it ,
they can irritate your gum file a bit
but I wouldnt recomend leaving it out for any length of time at adjectives .
