my ortho gave me these things that look like needles...you put the floss through the "eye" looking part and put it in between your teeth and the wire and there you go...hopefully that made sense to you!
he was supposed to give you this stiff tool, like a needle, that you thread floss through and you stick it in your teeth... it's very difficult to explain... call your orhto! they may be able to discuss it!
Ask your dentist or just try really hard!
hello. maybe your dentist could have shown you that first. : } flossing? take a piece of floss, and 'imagine' yourself flossing from what we've seen on TV commercials. just do NOT cut your gums, flossing can be that damaging. : }

I would purchase floss threaders. Put one end of the floss into the hole (of the floss threader), and then what you do is put the end without the hole underneath the wire (between the brackets). Take one end of the floss, and pull it through the wire. Floss at least once or twice a day. If I didn't help, call your ortho.
i didn't floss with braces it was difficult
i got this thing called a waterpick and you hold the nozzle close to your line and it works just as good as flossing my orthodontist was so impressed because most of his patients didn't even try flossing or waterpicking
You need to get some floss threaders and you stick floss throught the hole then put the tip of the threader between the wire and your teeth. pull the floss through and floss like normal. its a hard way to do it, but its the only way.

There are special kinds of floss you can use. They are alot of times available at drug stores. It's like floss on a stick. Just be careful and gentle because your gums may hurt if you do it too hard. Hope it helps:)
um...you can just go to the store and they might have these things called
"floss threaders"
but if they don't, just take a loooooong piece of floss,
put it UNDER your archwire and just floss normally.
it's really frustrating the first time because it takes a super long time
and it's kind of hard.
but soon enough you'll get the hang of it.
