Yes it can. I recently dealt with a extremely painful toothache that was making other teeth hurt and well as my ear and giving me headaches too. If it gets too bad try Orajel cotton swabs. If that doesn't work go to a dentist for a free check-up and if the pain is bad enough they will prescribe you with a pain medicine and penicillin or something like that to get rid of the pain. All you will have to do is pay for the prescription. I recommend Target for getting that filled. They are the cheapest place I have come across.

It is not uncommon for tooth pain to literally radiate around the affected tooth- which is one of the reasons dentists take and x-ray- sometimes dental pain can radiate so much, you may not be sure which tooth it is that's bothering you. If the pain continues after the troublesome tooth has been addressed, your dentist will need to take a closer look at the x ray, or possibly take another one.
