I have expanders in my mouth and i cant swallow anything not even ice cream is this normal?

The 1st couple of days your speech will be a off a little because it is not use to the new appliance. You may also have increased saliva. To answer you question yes this will go away in a couple of days (Way before school starts) Your mouth will be use to it in no time at all. Good Luck! You will be fine!

at first your speech will be a little off because you're toung is not used to something being on the roof of your mouth all the time.
also you should be able to eat within a day.
it just takes some getting used to.
