Braces Question?

Im getting them on in a week and I was just wondering if you have to have rubberbands? If so, When do u have to change them out?

you get rubberbands when you have a overbite. If you do, you change them every 4 hours. they hurt at first but you get used to them :)

it depends on what kind of bands your talking about. if your talking about the ones that make your jaw straight you change them when they break or weak and if your talking about the colored ones that the orthodontist puts on your teeth you change them ever 28 to 30 days but the orthodontist will do that for you when he tightens your braces = ]]

Well not all braces have to have bands (elastics). I have braces and theres no need for elastics for me, I have Damon braces
