I own a white spot on the tip of my uvula?
Here's what happened.,
I go to the dentist for my teeth cleaning., then the suction article that they use to suck the water up accidentally tried to suck my uvula., so dreadful., :-P
I tried eating dinner but it hurts every time I swallow., I looked within the mirror and opened my mouth., and saw that my uvula - the punching pack inside the mouth - was three times longer than its imaginative size. As of now, It's sitting on the support of my tounge.,
I went to the doctor and told him what happen., gave me medicine and told me things., 2 days later., I notice a white spot on the tip of my uvula., Is this a form of cancer?
I have an appointment near a throat specialist two days from now., but I needed to know earlier, within case anyone know, to get it past its sell-by date my chest.,
I want to know what that white spot is called., and if it is a form of cancer
I am so worried.,

Answers: You don't have cancer..you are beneficial. Think of a scab when it gets raining..it goes white. Sounds icky but to be exact what's happening within there. Avoid spicy or sour foods (like orange juice). Try creamy, smooth and cold things. And sue the dentist!
Don't verbs dear, I can pretty much assure you its not cancer! If it was the dentist would enjoy seen it when you go in to attain you teeth cleaned, and cancer don't come up all of a sudden. What is sounds approaching it strep throat! When you have strep throat, your uvula, or as my daughter call it, your hangy down thang, swells and hurts so bad! You own a hard time swallowing and the white things that you are conversation about is puss. My poor daughter suffered from strep at tiniest once a month until we had her tonsils and adenoids taken out. That have been over two years ago and we haven't have strep since! It sounds just approaching what you are going through and I feel sorry for you!! She stayed so sick!! Hope you grain better soon!
ps sound resembling the dentist didn't know what he was doing! It don't nouns like his equipment be very sterile any, that is prolly where on earth you got the strep from or he cause an infection by what he done while cleaning your teeth and it turned into strep!
