Baby teeth?

Question:
I am 33 years old and never lost 2 of my bottom front baby teeth...they are healthy just tiny, my dentist did xrays and said that there are no other teeth under them(my adult teeth) he wants to pull them and replace them with a partial...I have always had them, had no problems with them...so why is he wanting to do this? And is it normal not to loose all your baby teeth?

Answers:
I thought I was the only one... It is a genetic thing. I never developed those or my wisdom teeth. My dad and gma didn't get their wisdom teeth either. As long as it doesn't bother you then leave them alone. Dentist's are perfectionist. they will always find something the matter. BTW i am 32.
I have never heard of this but if there is no problem with these teeth I would just tell him to forget it if its not a bothersom to you I would just leave it be goodluck!
I think it is, I didn't lose two of my bottom teeth either, not the front two though
Well, some people just dont grow adult teeth, while others adult teeth dont grow down. Either way your stuck with a baby tooth. As long as those baby teeth are healthy and anchored in well to the bone DO NOT GET THEM REMOVED! Partials are NO FUN! They ruin your gums and there is nothing holding the bone in place if your dentist takes those baby teeth out! Just dont feel weird about it just know that other people have the same thing going on( like me) and keep them as long as you can!
