Canker sores can show up pretty much anywhere. It is probably caused by trauma from your tooth brush or something you ate. Just make sure to keep an eye on it to make sure it resolves. The oral tissues heal pretty quickly so if it isn't gone in a few weeks have it checked out by your dentist.

of course it's normal i get them all the time. Man do they suck they hurt. just leave them alone and dont think about it. the pain will go away
