Question:
I chipped my front tooth (my cap actually) and I don't have time to get it fixed by my dentist before I have to go to work tomorrow morning. I work with little kids and adults (I'm a counselor at a summer camp) and I look like a hick! I don't want anyone to see my chipped tooth but I'm definitely going to have to open my mouth a couple of times before I'm going to be able to get it fixed. Is there any way that I can make it look more normal or take attention away from my mouth?
Answers:
A chipped cap can sometimes be restored with bonding but that can only be done in a dental office. You need to call ASAP and tell them what happened so that they can get you in. In a worst case scenario, the crown will need to be remade. Good luck!
no, not really.not on your own at least. Most emergency rooms have a dentist on call for dental emergencies, but you will have to pay ER fees which are not fun. I would just say wait for the dentist visit.
there is nothing really to do except getting it fixed. have to get it fixed before it gets worth and damages the tooth n works toward the root
