Try whitening strips, or you can get the dentists to do an expensive whitening procedure but it can become kinda pricey. But if you have a lot of money to spare, some people get veneers.
Use crest white strips or another home whitening product. If that doesn't work then see your dentist and he can bleach them for you.
You can buy tooth whitener at walmart and it really works. If they are yellow like Big Bird then you will probably have to go to the dentist and get veneers.
Shave them, I think that might be the last resort for a dentist to do. First go have a check up to make sure, everything is all right, it might be a disease causing the staining, and ask the dentist that you want to whitening your teeth, the dentist would be more then happy to help you.
If you drink coffee, or dark liquids avoid them, but if you have to, use a straw... I carry about 4-5 straws in purse all the time, just for safe measure

Brushing themw ith baking soda, water, toothpaste...can help whiten your teeth. I have also tried Crest Whitestrips and it helped as well. You must remember though, don't scrap or scrub them too hard you will do more damage than good.
