Does anything hurt really bad when you get on your braces?

Why do I keep dreaming my teeth are crumbling?

Answers:
Well when you first get them put on ur like "OMG this is cake!"...be warned.about 5 hours or so from that moment ou will be in the most excruciating pain you've ever felt. See what's happening is that your teeth are being pulled every which way so your gums are becoming extremely irritated and they will swell up and redden slightly. You might also experience a little bleeding, but it's perfectly normal. As result of the pain you might also get a headache, but that's only if the pain gets to be too much.

As the orthodontist when you leave to give you something for pain like a dumbing cream of some novacaine when you're about to leave. I REALLY regret not having done that when I first got braces.

what is cementry filling in teeth?

When you get your braces put on, it's more of a dull ache.

When you get your braces adjusted, it's a little bit more of an ache.

Always take some Advil about 20 minutes before you head in for your orthodonist appointment.

Braces, one and only answer if you own have them previously?

Yes, your mouth.

I've had my wisdom teeth out, & stitches put in my mouth, how long do they take to dissolve, & how do they?

Your mouth won't really really hurt but it will feel sore. However, everyone is different so no one can really truly tell you how it is going to feel. I can help you a little about telling you about my braces...

I had an expander and braces at the same time, trust me an expander is far worse than braces. Within 2 days my braces were fine...the expander, not so much. Braces didn't really hurt for me, and when you get them tightened it doesn't hurt. Once again, these are my thoughts.

In the end, I heard it's worth it. However, I have my braces right now and I can't tell that they are there!

Good Luck!

alot of ppl say that braces hurt but they dont, wen they titen them they just feel kinda funky but then it goes away in like a day. the only thing that hurts is if wen the put them on or titen them one of the ends of the wire is poking u in the gums, but then just tell your dentist and they will fix it

What happen to the toothpaste vertical cylinder tubes?

When the braces are put on, nothing really hurts. It's really afterwards that there may be pain. I didn't really experience any horrible pain except when I tried to eat, but I took some Motrin for that and I was good to go.

It won't be horrible, but there will probably be a little pain. It'll all be worth it in the end when you have gorgeous teeth. :]
