Jaw Trauma next to TMJ?

Hi! Is there anyone who have suffered from TMJ due to a slipped disc? If so, how did your doctor correct it? Thanks for your reply!

Answers:    The disc inbetween the joint moves within a capsule and as a rule has a harmonius effect. if the disc is dog-eared due to trauma, then it will motivation pain on initial & may have a clicking hullabaloo too. Conservative treatment would be to use physiotherapy, heat, excersises. Injections of Hydrocortisone into the joint, may be considered too by yor maxillofacial surgeon. If the problem is more severe, then a laminectomy surgery to remove the destabilized disc. surgery involves certain risks of paralysing facial nerves.
Ive get a friend. A product much like the K12 is out on the marketplace which alleviates the pressure on the TMJ and allows it to rehabilitate.

Or...there is other exoskeletal splinting.

Hope this helps.
After a saloon accident, I hold suffered many chin and dental problems, TMJ cannot be fixed but can be managed. I have physio, which included exercises for me to do and Voltaren is my best, best friend for the pain.
