Biteplate help!?

Question:
So i broke my biteplate on the right side (it snaped because my dentist is stupid and its so loose that when i bite into something it like moves back and unhooks and i bit down on it.) well i got the brilliant idea to take superglue and glue it back together. it worked, and its been working exactly the same as it was before. do you think my dentist will notice? its been like this for about a month. i mean, is it really that big of a deal?? the only reason i did it is because my family is tight for money, and really cant afford to pay 115 $ for a new one.

Answers:
The dentist will notice, and possibly suggest you have a new one made,
superglue isnt exactly ment to be used in dental equipment. Its not exactly toxic, but not ment to be used on anything entering your mouth
