If your Orthodontist say you will be in treatment for braces for 24 months?

Question:
does that means you will have to have the braces on for 24 months?

Answers:
mostly of the time but it depends on how bad your teeth are?
Yes,thats good my son has to have them for 36 months.Good Luck
Roundabouts there. The timetable that they offer tends to be an estimate, it may vary a little bit, depending on how your situation progresses, and how well you follow the orders of the orthodontist.
My daughter has had her braces are on for nearly 24 months, and is due to have them taken off in September or October, (And she can't wait.). I think she will then have a band or some sort on for another 12 months.

I guess it depends on the Orthodontist and the severity the teeth they are treating.
The 24 months given to your by your orthodontist is an estimate. If he (or she) estimates 24 months it will be that long but possibly longer. The younger you are when the braces are put on the shorter time is needed to complete your treatment.

Don't be discouraged by the length of time you have to wear your braces. Straight teeth and an aligned bit are not only cosmetically appealing but provide you will a healthy month for the rest of your life.
