Does everybody have to get their wisdom teeth out,and how painful is it?

Not everyone needs to get their wisdom teeth out. Some people may never have theirs grow in and even if they do, it won't cause major harm. It will just cause you discomfort based on how they grow in. Because there isn't a lot of room in the back of the mouth, wisdom teeth can grow in sideways, causing them to rub against your gums.
I just had mine out two days ago and the surgery wasn't bad at all. They gave me laughing gas, then an IV. I didn't really start feeling any pain until later on in the day, but they gave me painkillers and an ice pack, which have done wonders.
My jaw has begun to get stiff, since I can't open it very wide, and since it has been 48 hours after my surgery, I can switch from ice packs to wet heat, which will help loosen the joints in my jaw. It is mostly just an uncomfortable, dull pain, but not unbearable. Thankfully, I haven't had much swelling or bruising.
If your dentist recommends that you get them removed, I would do it before I reached my early twenties, if you haven't reached that age yet. The root of the bottom wisdom teeth haven't reached the nerve endings in your jawline at that age, and it makes for an easier extraction. I am in my late 20's and the surgeon had to cut some of my upper bone area to extract the tooth, due to a high bone density. Just follow the dentist's advice and your recovery should be quick, and for the most part, painless.
Not everyone has too; I probably won't have to because I inhereited my mom's teeth (which are incredibly small) and she didn't get hers pulled out either.
im not sure if your gonna die but usually they put you to sleep then afterwards they give you some pain meds.
you won't die but you are suffering from the pain like want to die. Let the dentists pull out for you, just like an ant bite. The pain goes off very very very fast.
not everyone has to have their wisdom teeth out but most people nowdays do get them removed. you wont die just your teeth will be crooked most likely. its kinda painful but they gave me loritab when i had mine out (but i ended up taking advil because the loritab made me sick and advil worked fine). i had braces then had to get mine out or get braces again so i opted to have them out. also the pain depends on whether or not they are impacted or if they can actually come in.
No, not everybody does. Wisdom teeth descend when you are about 16-18. Sometimes they never appear! If they come down and your mouth is too small to cope with the new teeth, then dentists will sometimes recommend their removal. If your dentist has recommended that they get removed then I would listen to them - if you have teeth that impair the others then they can misalign the teeth causing pain or they can hurt when they squeeze next to other teeth. Having teeth removed is not painful - all they do is give a quick anasthetic (which might sting a little but otherwise it's ok - like having a needle at the doctor's only not as painful!) Then they take the tooth out and it doesn't hurt at all - all you can feel is a little movement. If a dentist recommends something, it is usually in your best interests to listen to them. Good luck and I hope this info helps!!
No... not everyone has to get their wisdom teeth removed. It just depends on how much space you have back there and how they are growing. Often times, the wisdom teeth come out at an angle and push against the molars. They are often hard to clean and decay easily. You won't die from not getting your wisdom teeth removed (unless you get a massive infection which could enter your bloodstream and cause asepsis), but it isn't too painful. Hopefully your dentist is working in your best interest, so if they do suggest to have them removed, it is most likely beneficial that you do. It is a very routine procedure and most people are back to normal 2-3 days after surgery.
Not everyone has to get them pulled, but the majority of people do. It depends on how much room you have in your mouth for them. I was put under when I got mine out and it didn't hurt. It can be a little sore for the first 2-3 days after, but just rest and eat soft food. Also take the pain killer they give you. It definitely helps.
You won't die if you refuse to get them out, but it could get quite uncomfortable in your mouth and could ruin something too.
You won't die but you can get terrible headaches and pain if they start to grow out.
The best thing is to just get it done.
It isn't that bad, trust me. I had three removed. The only thing that bothered me was right after the surgery. Get the person who comes with you to go get the pain medication while you are in surgery so you can have it as soon as you get out if you need it.
By the second day I was already feeling fine. Take a few days off though.
Not everyone has to get there teeth out. You only get your wisdom teeth pulled if they are causing you problems. They numb you up so it doesn't hurt while they are doing it but afterwords there will be some discomfort. Take some advil or tylenol and you will be fine.
