Yesterday...i.?

Question:
went to the dentist for a filling but was unable to do it yesterday,so he put a temporary filling in,but since the numbness wore off,i have had an horrible taste in my mouth like you have a paracetamol in your mouth...why?

Answers:
They don't use glue, but the material they use for the temporary filling does taste strange. Wash you mouth out with mouthwash a few times and that should help.
It may be the glue they use.
Yeh that glue does taste nasty.
Many of the temporary filling materials, used to sedate teeth, have oil of clove in the mixture.

The oil of clove helps to calm down the tooth's nerve but can have a really bad taste in your mouth.

Call your dentist and ask if the material he used has oil of clove. That will explain the taste. If it did not, try to describe the taste in your mouth. You might have some type of infection causing the taste and your dentist has to be made aware of it.
