Question:
Ok so I'm REALLY close to getting my braces off. I just noticed that the wire in the back is no longer connected to the brace on the tooth. The doctor was supposed to be using the wire to "un-angle" my back molars. I'm afraid that if I wait until my next appointment, I'll have to wait another 3 weeks before I can come back, which would delay getting my braces off. I'm getting school pictures in about 3 weeks also, but it would be cutting it really close.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is...how can I fix it myself?

Call your dentist and ask what you should do, they will probably ask if you want to make an appointment sooner for the wire can be re-connected and if not that they will be able to tell you what to do about it until you can come in for your regular appointment. Well, if it you have to wait to get them off you just have to wait but best of luck.
