Question:
hi, I'm 18 and i've already been through the braces process (now i've recently begun wearing a retainer). i have an overbite and it makes my jaw feel uncomfortable sometimes. i asked my orthodontist about it, and he said it was OK, but it isn't, otherwise my jaw wouldn't feel uncomfortable. should I ask him again and go into more detail or what? It just feels like I have to stretch my jaw outwards a lot for it to feel more comfortable, and it's gotten pretty annoying. i've always had somewhat of an overbite, but just recently it started feeling like this. also, do retainers help with an overbite? i'd doubt it, but.. so at this point would i have to get surgery to decrease my overbite? thanks for any help

Well, keep your retainer on then.
