i just got my retainer and my dentist is away..he told me to get the key and push it down on mon, wed, and fri. well it felt lose and i twisted it a day extra and i was wondering if i could twist it the other way and make it loser but i dont want to twist it the other way and make it tighter again

I know someone that had braces. her parents thought it was too lose, so they tightened it. The Ortho came unglued at the parents. You don't tighten or loosen anything. That's the ortho's job.
