Can i remove my wisdom tooth while i have my period, or there will be some problems because of the anaesthesia

Question:

Answers:
No connection - no problem.
I've never ever heard of that happening before.
It will be fine if you have your wisdom teeth removed while you are on your period...the anesthesia does not affect it at all! However, if you take birth control I'd recommend stopping during the time because it increases the chances of dry socket!
the only medical practice that stops for a period is the gynecologist. i dont see how that would affect maxilofacial surgery.
i wouldn't recommend it, i would wait til it's over and then have it done.
You should definitely notify your dentist of this issue. Maybe you can postpone the procedure until your period has passed.
No problems, normally the anaesthesia will be injected only into the gum area where your tooth is - you won't 'go under' like those in major operations.

However, do not drink alcohol the night before the operation because it thins your blood and you may end up bleeding much more than expected after the removal.
You need to talk to your dentist, If its a emerbency that may not matter
I've heard some strang things about being on your cycle and having things done but i think this by far has been the strangest.

YOUR PERIOD DOESN'T EFFECT ANAESTHESIA OR ANYTHING ELSE, IE YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Your period is the natual sheading of the lining in your uterus that is it. Nothing else!

you'll be fine.
I don't see how anesthesia would be affected by your period, unless there's a new way of administering it that I don't know about.
your period should not effect having them removed just make sure to wear good protection like tampon. I have heard that going to the dentist during your period actually helps with the pain I don't know how but, I have heard that.
Who ever knew that wisdom teeth would be so painful. Since most Dentists can take it out using a local, you may be able to have them taken out. If they are impacted, they may have to put you under and it's more like an operation.

The thing to do is call your Dentist, ask what he or she needs to do to have yours removed and then call your Doctor to get the final answer, although your Dentist will probably know. But it is still better to double check with your Physician because you may be taking other medications or have other medical conditions that the Dentist doesn't know about.
