Question:
I've had braces for about 3 months now. I got the brackets in may, the replacements of the brackets I lost and an upper pallet expander a week ago and today, I got the wires. they are making my teeth really sore and b4 I had the wires, I had colors on my braces and when they were all done 2day, I asked for a new color, and they said next time and now, they are just plain silver until the next time I go which is in 4 weeks. Why didn't they want to put colors on?

Sometimes orthodontists need to use silver because they need to see how the teeth are moving. Be patient. You'll get your colors.
They prob. ran out!
the same thing happened 2 me they didnt give me colors either they said cause i wasnt brushing good. n then they said next time u come back we'll give u colors its been a yr. already n i brush wonderfully.
I can only guess that perhaps the silver are stronger to help the new wires stay in place OR maybe they just forgot and since they had done most of the work they didn't want to take them off and start over. Ask them next time and maybe they will have a viable answer.
