Try looking to see if you have a dental school nearby. Most have clinics where the students and teaching dentists will perform procedures for a very cheap price. My friend had her wisdom teeth removed for about $150 but had to wait in line for 5 hours to ensure a spot. Don't worry, there are qualified dentists actually performing the procedures. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and it was about $1500 with local anesthetic only. Normal teeth cleanings are about $150.
In my area 65 dollars!
It depends on which part of the country you live in (example, New York being more expensive than most parts of the country), your dentist (specialists and more experienced general dentists generally charge more than a general dentist just out of school) and what type of extraction you need to have done. Front teeth typically are a simple extraction (ballpark around a $100) and most general dentists can do these types of extractions. Molars tend to be more complicated, costing a few hundred dollars per extraction, and you may need to go to an oral surgeon. If you are having your molars extracted, you may need general anesthesia, which is an additional cost. If you have medical insurance and are needing your wisdom teeth extracted, call your insurance and see if they cover these type of extractions on your medical plan. Some medical carriers cover extractions of wisdom teeth.
