Mine were 5,000 and so were my sisters. This costs should include everything including visits, the braces, and retainers.

I got braces when i was about 12 and everyone will tell you that they are horrible.they are not trust me i know; the only thing that hurts is getting the back braces that go around your very back teeth.mine cost about $3000 with insurence and about (if i did not have it) it would have been $6000...my retainer was about $250.the retainer will also hurt if you don't wear it so be sure you wear it or your teeth will shift!!

also i recommend using crest whitening mouth wash to keep your teeth white while you have them on

yeah that's how much mine were too. my mom paid $100 each time i got them tightened. let me tell u one thing. when u first get them its ok. but the SECOND day of braces IS THE KILLER. it hurts so bad when u brush ur teeth and when u try to chew.. oh man i hhhaaatteedd braces. i still have them though one more year to go! and food gets stuck between braces and sometimes u cant take it out. so my advice:always carry around a toothpick and a mirror. it helps lol :)
my braces were 10,000 each parent had to pay 5,000 but it was because i had an over bite and i am missing two of my teeth so that is why! but usually they are 5,000
