I Had My Tooth Out 2days Ago, And Its Still Very Very Painful, Is This Normal?

Question:
How Long Will The Pain Last??

Answers:
usually after 2 days the pain should have Calmed down and feel more uncomfortable then painful.. if it was me I'd b back 2 the dentist asap 2 make sure it not something like dry socket i know myself that can be very pain and needs to be Treated ..
Your mouth will be tender and painful for quite a while, eat foods that are liquid like soup, icecream. Hope it doesn't last long but each person will be different. If it is still painful after a week and you are concerned go and seek some help from dentist or where you had it done.
Yes, normal , it hurts for ages.
After 2 days it should be uncomfortable not Painful. I would contact your dentist to make sure you have not developed a secondary infection or a dry socket.
it's normal,i had 4 wisdom teeth taken out and it took over 1 week to heal!
After an extraction, the pain and swelling reach their peak 24-48 hours later. Things should start to improve 72 hours after an extraction and get better each day from there. If you notice that the pain does not get better, or that the pain medication that you were prescribed does not even touch the pain you are experiencing after this 72-hour window, you could have a "dry socket."
yeah i had a tooth out a while ago and it was a bit sore for a while take paracetimol and gargal some cooled down boiled water with a pinch of salt in it to prevent infection, hope u feel better soon hon xx
what spoofred said, but it should be WARM not boiling salt water.. gargle with it..

might get infected if you haven't been doing that. it should just feel a bit odd, not really painful though.
I worry that you have dry socket. i had 2 teeth pulled in my life and in all honesty no pain, just tender for a day. Your dentist should have perscrabed 3 or 4 days of pain meds. check to make sure the blood clot is still there. if not you may have dry socket and you need to go back to the dentist asap.
Are you still being medicated for pain? ie, paracetamol or codeine based analgesics?

I've had several teeth out and it took on average three days for pain to subside to a dull ache and a week for symptoms to disappear.
I had a tooth extracted thursday and I am not experiencing any pain are uncomfortableness at all... can you see inside your socket? shoul be red and clack or have a greyish color if not you need to call your denist asap cause you might have a dry socket.
Probably normal as it takes a few days for the brusing and swelling to go down. If this lasts longer than 4/5 days go back to your dentist as you may have an infection in the socket. I have had many of these. I had a tooth out 6 weeks ago and have been back to my dentist twice and have had two courses of antibiotics. Thankfully it now seems to have cleared up.
Yes its normal i had mine out 2 weeks ago and although its not painful anymore its tender and sensitive. Not sure how long it lasts being sore but as long as thiers no infection it should heal so enough.
