Dental Future?

Question:
have we reached the best we can do in the science of dentistry?,

if not what are we going to see in the next 10/20 years?

would be nice to have 'cheaper' dental work i suppose or maybe grow teeth back that have been knocked out instead of paying for implants.

Answers:
well there is no end to excellence, therefore theres lot more to come in next few years, recently researchers are working on stem cell research and nanodentistry ! with newer advancements like new composites with far better properties and yet at cheaper price! development in dentistry would not only lead to cheaper work but more effective aswell! with the help of stem cells research teeth could be grown back !
They are currently doing research in regrowing teeth. If you think implants are costly, when they perfect the science of regrowing teeth, just wait to see how costly it will be. Dental work is not cheap but it doesn't come near the cost of medical. People tend to complain a lot about the cost of dental work. If you've every looked at what medical care costs it's ghastly! Hospitals charge huge for a dose of advil! Most of the work in dentistry is largely preventable if you learn how to take care of your teeth and gums from an early age and practice preventive dentistry.
