What do I do if a dental stitch comes out next day?

It should be fine if it came out on it's on. Usually when they come out, we don't put them back in. It could be that the tissue was too thin to hold the suture or your tongue played with it too much. Just keep the area clean with the warm salt water rinses. Good luck!
If it is not bleeding, you should be fine. Just keep an eye on it.
It should be o.k. mean time do as your dentist directed.....
The main reason for stitching is to stop the bleeding. If there isn't any bleeding then the operation site will heal, but possibly a day or two longer. Please keep it clean with warm salt mouthwashes and brushing your teeth well, then it should heal fine
Usually they are supposed to fall out on their own but I don't think that soon. I would continue to rinse your mouth out at every meal with warm salt water and you should be fine but just in case may be a good idea to contact your dentist.
Hi! No this is not a problem. Since you still have one or more sutures, then it should not be a problem. During an apico the root tip of the tooth is removed and a retrograde filling placed to secure the site from any additional infections. I think that you should rinse with salty warm water 3-4 times a day(gently) for the next 2-3 days you will be fine. I have had 6 apicos myself and the sutures came out because I was playing with them with my tongue. AND I practice in dentistry and know better LOL..so do not worry. Please begin the rinses 24 hours AFTER the surgery and you will be fine. This will promote healing and make your mouth taste better as it reduces bacteria and the taste of the infection. If you have any other questions, please ask. I will be glad to help you in any way I can. Marie
Don't worry top much. Stictches come loose and sometimes fall out. Just make sure you look after the wound without rinsing. To find out more go to http://www.oceansurgical.com.au/...
