Gaps in teeth: second opinion please??

Question:
all of my back teeth are completely straight on top and bottom but my front 6 teeth on top and bottom and spaced far apart. I had an aligner in for years for my back teeth so they could grow in straight but my front teeth didnt. My dentist says braces cant fix it but i've seen people whose teeth overlap get them fixed with braces. Is my dentist right or can braces fix my teeth?

Answers:
Honestly, I would get a second opinion. My brother had gaps in his front teeth and the orthodontist was able to put one brace on his front teeth to pull them together and his teeth look very good today. I don,t know why braces can,t be used did he give you a sound reason why? It really sounds like something can be done for your problem. I,m no dentist but I say get a 2nd opinion! Good Health To You!
get a second opinion
if it is the truth u can allways get your teeth pulled and buy new ones
Generally if there are spaces between all your front teeth you actually have too much space in your mouth instead of too little which is why most people get braces. Your best bet would probably be either bonding, veneers, or crowns. If they put braces on & bring your teeth together it will make your top teeth not line up properly with your lower teeth. It doesn't hurt to get a second opinion though just to put your mind at rest =)
i think they should stay the way they are cuz if you get braces wouldnt it leave a giant gap inbetween the front teeth and back teeth?
not sure about braces. but try invisalign braces, it's invisable braces. My boy friend had straight teeth but had gaps, so he tried invisalign and it worked out perfect. And it works faster then regular metal braces. See an orthodontist about this since your dentist didnt tell you about this.
