hi! if 14 and i got my braces yesterday. i didnt have insurance either and mine were $4577. i think you will have them on about 14-18 months. you might need bottom braces if the top braces change your bite.

My best guess is about 2 years. The cost of course depends on where you are, but around the SW Missouri area they are anywhere from $5,000 - $7,000. =)

Hey, well i have braces(im 14) and it cost my mom $6000, and i got the clear ones, but it all depends on the way your teeth are, like if you have an overbite or you need to get teeth pulled out, I have an overbite and i had to get teeth pulled out, today, it did not hurt just pressure. I had my 4 premolars pulled out. And if you have normal teeth , you would have to wear braces for 2-3 years, so is not that bad, i have a friend who has worn braces for seven years. and good luck if you get them cause they hurt and cut your mouth a lot, but that is for 2-5 days. Hope you can get them!!!
My brother has that same arrangement and the dentist has to pull some teeth to get room for arrangement, then braces. It will take about 18 to 28 months. His are worse though, so it will probably be about 2 years. The cost, depends on the dentist/orthodontist and what type of braces you are getting(ceramic/metal/liner braces/invisaline...ect...) probably figure $2000.00 to $5000.00. I am getting ceramic braces and it was about $1000.00 more, but they dont stand out like the metal. And also, you have to factor in if you are getting the bottom fixed to, its hard to make that call from the pic, but it depends on if you have to get braces on the bottom, or retainers, or nothing. I also have to get retainers
