How is it that natural chewing gum can be swallowed yet any other chewing gum (e.g. orbit) can not.?

Chewing gum should not be swallowed but there hasn't been many complications reported from swallowing gum.
Why can't it? All gum will pass as swallowed. Try it it just passes. Unless you have health problems like crohns and have a blockage then don't.
what do u mean other chewing gum cannot, i can swallow any kind i want, kids have been swallowing gum for years, and not just certain brands, this is a dumb question
