Can u talk after impacted wisdom teeth extraction?

as soon as you wake up from the anesthetic. I had 2 impacted ones and i was fine. hurts a bit more, but thats what the pain killers you get are for! you'll be able to talk, drink and eat (soft things anyway) straight away...
Straight after? No. Probably best not to talk heaps in the first week of extraction. it took me about a week before I could talk without sounding like I had a mouth full of gauze. I didnt really want to talk because I got self concious about my mouth everytime i opened it. it takes about a week. Depending on how quick you r body heals itself.
You CAN talk, but you probably won't WANT to. Your mouth is going to be bruised and sore; talking will not be comfortable. Also, depending on the painkillers your dentist gives you, you might not be making much sense anyway.
