Cant brush//braces?

Question:
it hurts to much. how can i keep my mouth clean?? with out brushing??

Answers:
It is not possible, you are just going to have to wince through the pain;( I remember when I got my braces on and it truly sucked! I would suggest using a spin brush so you don't have to put pressure on your teeth when you brush, also if you can find a water pik (a electric mouth tool that sprays water on your teeth instead of flossing) it might help you get food out until you get used to the discomfort. Hope that helps a little, I feel for you, but just think of how great your teeth will look after you are done;) The worst thing that could happen is that you don't brush and then you get square stains on your teeth when you have your braces removed, embarrassing and you don't want that to happen. Good Luck to you!
Trust me i know , when i got my braces first it hurted so bad but you need to clean them so they dont cause any damage to the teeth . Every time you go back to the orthodontist they check to make sure everything is clean . So just take it slow and get used to it.
You can't. Take some tylenol that should help. In a couple days it won't hurt anymore.
there is special dental floss to use when you have braces they sell it at Wal-mart and CVS. use plenty of Listerene.

try taking a pain releiver - Tylenol or whatever ur use to taking, about 30 minutes prior to brushing it may help a little.
