Hi! I have been in dentistry for over 25 years and I can only make some suggestions and see if this can work for you. The first is to get a hygiene program that is perfect. Soft toothbrush, floss and rinse. Twice a day you must do this. Salty warm water rinses 3-5 times a day will reduce gum swelling and bacteria. But you have to do due diligence with brushing and flossing first. Second, watch you diet, sugar, carbs and sticky food are a disaster. Brush your tongue as well. This will take time but can be done. Brushing and flossing may make your gums bleed, but that is okay, you are getting the bad bacteria out. Keep it up. Get 3 cleanings a year by your dentist and ask him for a fluoride rinse and antibacterial. Both will stop the gum issues. Most of all get on vitamins with calcium and watch what your eat. Your mouth tells a lot about your health. Speak your dentist about this. And most of all, sugar, alcohol and cigerettes are a disaster for your mouth's health. If you have any other questions, please ask. I will help you in any way I can. Marie.
