No enamel...can I whiten teeth?

Question:
i have lost emamel on my teeth due to an eating disorder.
I spent a few hundred dollars a few years ago for Zoom - i didnt see a difference.
Is it because of the lost enamel?

I just bought a rembrant at home kit - will it work?

Answers:
I am guessing that if Zoom didn't work, then Rembrant won't either. Zoom is a lot stronger than Rembrant. You should talk to your dentist and see what they say.
No it wont work, sorry. You could get veneers done, ask your dentist about them.
Look up remineralization of the teeth on the internet. I am trying to do this now and I am slowly seeing an improvement although it seems to be taking a very long time.
Tooth whitening systems are only a temporary fix until you drink a coke or cup of coffee the stains absorb right back into your teeth again. I wish the dentist I went to was honest enough to tell me that because I did the ZOOM thing too which only lasted 2 days.

Can't wait to read other people's suggestions and see what dentists have to say.
It is hard to say but I would check with a dentist in person so that he or she could examine your teeth personally and decided if they can be whitened and if so with what product. Since you have damaged enamel, you definitely do not want to make your teeth worse than they are.
