Teeth Whitening Anyone?!?

Question:
HOW old do you have to be 2 get your teeth whitened?!?

Answers:
Tooth whitening is not generally recommended for kids/teens. The reason for this is that the pulp chambers (the place where the living nerve of the teeth are) are very large and therefore the teeth can become very sensitive. Usually I recommend that you wait until your later teen years. A whitening toothpaste will help keep stains away but the best choice is to go for regular dental cleanings and stay away from dark drinks like cola, tea, coffee etc. If you are going to do it I would recommend using the strips every other day right after a dental cleaning. If the teeth have buildup (stain, tartar) on them the strips won't work that well.
Hope that helps!

It's not alcohol or cigarettes, probably 16 or 18.
well i had braces and got them off when i was 15 1/2 and they let me get a whitening to take care of brace marks
You should ask your parents but you could use a 50/50 solution of peroxide (the kind in the pharmacy section of a store) and water. Just swish it in your mouth and then hold for 5 minutes. It takes a couple of weeks but it works and you will have white teeth for very little money.
