Why dont they use novicane when putting on braces?

I mean, does it hurt?

It doesn't hurt when they put it on. It hurts for a couple of days after they tighten the wire (usually every visit) or when you bite into something hard.
uhh the braces dont really hurt at all actually well after a while a lil tingly feeling but not much .. cuz i just got them like 1 month ago
it only hurt a bit when they put on the bands on your molars. Most people don't needed. You could ask your dr to numb you up. The bracket placement on your teeth cause no pain, The appointment could be long however. TF
