Yes, you can eat right after but. brush or rinse off the residual gel off the teeth first. Then do not drink of eat anything dark for 1/2 hour, like dark juice, cola, coffee, tea etc since the teeth are very likely to pick up the stain at this time.

eww.. you can but it'd taste like **** lol
I use the off-brand, and I usually do. If you've left them on for a while, then the whitening is finished for that day, and I doubt it will be reversed. If you are concerned, though, use them right before you go to bed.
