How much does it normally cost to get a tooth pulled or a root canal done?

Question:
How much does it on average cost to get a tooth pulled? what about a root canal? The last time I went to the dentist they told me I needed a root canal but that was about a year ago so I think that it may need to be pulled now. I just wanted to be prepared as to how much moolah I will be forking out for either one.

Answers:
Root Canals range from 800-1200. Getting a tooth pulled out is around $75.00 - $148.00. But it really depends what it is you're getting pulled out. For the root canal it costs 400-600 for the surgery and about 600-800 for the crown. It also depends what type of crown you're getting.
