I got my braces off and I'm devastated!!?

Question:
I just recently got my braces off yesterday. When I looked in the mirror after they were off, I was thrown in to total shock (I had them for about 4-5 years). Sure they're straight (that's a given), but I absolutely hate them!! They're all tilting inwards and they're loose. The gap between my 2 front teeth came back and they're all uneven. (I know orthodontic treatment can't treat uneveness, but my 2 front teeth are bigger and longer than the rest of my teeth which are abnormally small, and I look like a beaver!!) When I was in grade school, I used to be made fun of, and now those memories are all coming back to me. At least my braces kind of hid my teeth! I'm completely satisfied with the rest of my appearence, but when I look in the mirror I can only look at my teeth and I feel that's the same way people look at me! I'm honestly just devasted at the moment. I'm really considering porcelain veneers or something of the sort and am wondering if that would be a good option? ..HELP!

Answers:
I know what you mean. When I got my braces off, my teeth looked huge.

When you get your retainer for your top teeth, make sure you wear it every day or how your dr. wants you to wear it. It will really help with your uneven teeth. Talk to your orthodontist about your two front teeth. Maybe he can polish it down or something to make it look a little smaller.

Good luck!
They will not be loose for long. Talk to your dentist asap. Isn't there a retainer you could wear to help them? They can probably file your front teeth down a bit if you want. Best.
oh my god cry. im sure it will be okay. just dont smile
They can grind off the two center teeth a bit but the look you are referring to to me is very attractive.
