The old CA(OH)2 works fairly well on primary teeth. Doesn't work at all on permanent teeth. I wish I had headlines to give you. There were some very promising materials tested 15 to 20 years ago. They don't seem to be working out. But a good deal of knowledge was gained. This is an extremely complicated subject.
