I had a check up, a filling . a xray ,have to go back for an extraction what sort of price am i lookin at ?

Question:
receptionist did not have a clue when i asked her and do they expect you to pay it in one go

Answers:
It all depends if the treatment is privately or at a nhs dentist. For nhs treatment it would be 43.60 but if it is private then they can vary from 50 -150 pound for a extraction and then that may not include the check up and xrays. Again for the nhs treatment the fee would be charged when the treatment is completed.
you are probably looking at $100-$200 for that extraction. unless you have insurace.
when i had wisdom tooth removed, it cost me £80 and that was without x-ray and filling so im guessing it will be about £130 ish i should imagine.

not sure about paying, i always pay in one go.
Ask the dentist. How would we know. Prices are different every where.
depending on your dentist...any where from $100 to $250.most dentists offer a payment plan ask them about it before you have the procedure done
£30/40 filling, £15 check up, £85 extraction, £15 xray.

this is approx what mrs sithy paid.

just found receipt
it depends on difficulty of the extraction amount of anestethic that they use and various other factors the best thing to do is just talk to the dentist and i am sure that most people will be willing to work out some payments with you. however u should try to find out a price up front and see if u are capable and willing to pay such an amount.
ask the dentist ffs people on here ask such stupid questions
I'd say about £70 to £80 depending on what type of filling you had done.
you may need to take out a loan because they keep putting the prices up. I think its disgraceful that you have to pay when you already pay N.I contributions.
depends, if you are lucky enough to have an NHS dentist, it will be classed as one continuous course of treatment which will be £43.60.
hope this helps, haven't got a clue about private prices, sorry.
Will probably be £100 + depends on whether you have part on NHS . Dentist and/or receptionist should have been able to give you an estimate at the time , sounds like they were not very organised.
Call the office back to ask the price. They should let you know up front. The receptionist should know..if not, she should find out. If they can't tell you then I'd cancel the extraction appointment and go somewhere else. Unless insurance is involved payment is usually expected at the time of service. Some offices offer a discount for cash on day of service. Ask about that too.
ask again receptionist should know if recept still does not know ask to speak to the dentist when he/she informs you of the cost ask them for a job[receptionist]
