Getting cavitys filled tomorrow. :(?

iv had a really bad experience with this one guy at the dentist's office i go to. a couple of years ago, when i was 10, he didn't numb me right and fucked up really bad.
what if i get him again?
i will have 3 cavitys filled tomorrow, and i'm really afraid.
ps. its not my fault, i brush regularly and well but because of the way my teeth are my toothbrush cant get everywhere. iv tried really hard to keep my teeth healthy so this was a shock.

I felt the same way 8 am this morning I'm in the process of a root canal ughh...I asked them to give me nitrous oxide (laughing gas) it helps calm you down and you wont feel the injection for the Novocaine as much & it just makes you feel really good and kinda sleepy and happy i would suggest asking..they are there to make you feel totally comftorable good luck you will do fine.
try calling your doc right now and ask him if he can prescribe something to calm you down before your visit. you can also request someone other then the person that did your work the last time. they should have it in your chart. if the doc refuses to give you something to calm you down, try taking some benedril before you go, that should relax you some. about your hygiene, there is a such thing as being born with bad teeth, so dont worry. my suggestion would be to try using an electric toothbrush with a round head on it. it has worked wonders for me, you will feel like your teeth are extra extra clean. no joke. try flossing after your meals also, because your toothbrush can not do it all. if its a hard habit to grasp, try doing it while you watch tv or talk on the phone, it only takes a few minutes and you will feel the difference. good luck and i hope i was some help.
3 fillings, trust me they will drug you up...the medication they use will make you fill nausea, shaky, and "edgy" this is a normal side affect of the drug. if you get the same person again tell him about it if its someone diffrent tell him about it. oh, are you brushing in circular motions? this technique is the best.
