Question:
Answers:
Try using ora jel on the gums. Works on toothache and teething babies.
I would take ibuprofen, that's what I did. Sorry no other suggestions I can think of.
Well I would´ve suggested advil, but you could also eat hot soups and drinks.
Just take some ib profren, and you will get used to them in a few days. I wore braces for five years, and I remember getting those too...They are uncombfortable, but they will get better. The first few days are the worst. Good Luck!
When I first had spacers in, I chewed sugar-free gum (Trident works great). This helped me quite a bit. Also, orajel helps.
Ice Cream snow cones medication alwayed helped me out
I know that this sounds cruel but there really isn't much you can do about the discomfort. The Advil you took is just about the best thing that you can take. If it is any consolation, in just a day or two these spacers will stop hurting. It is only when the teeth first start to move that you have this discomfort. Once they get that initial push the pain eases.
When the braces are put on you will feel this tightness and soreness every time they are adjusted but only for a short time.
Just remember that when all is said and done you will have beautiful, straight teeth.
Remember to limit your sweets and to brush after Every time you eat to prevent decay and white spots from forming around the brackets on your teeth.
Good luck.
nothing works only time will ease the pain .. it'll pass after a couple of days .. jus eat soft foods meanwhile
When I got spacers (two weeks ago)
I took ibuprofen.
Advil won't work because it doesn't have any anti-inflammatory agents.
Which ibuprofen does.
So take some ibuprofen and then try to sleep for a little bit and the pain will be reduced.
You can also use Ora-Jel like I did.
And just try to sleep it off.
That's what I did.
Basically I lived on the couch for a week.
But good luck!
