Question:
Hello, I have a hereditarial diastema. You know the one with that little piece or gum that hangs in the middle of the gap? I was wondering what is the best way to close it. I heard bonding is the best. All my other teeth are fine, so I don't want braces. Can anyone help me out? Also, how much does the procedures that you suggest cost? Thanks!
Answers:
if you dont want braces, you an have a crown up in on your fron two teeth and the crown will be a little bigger then your teeth inorder to fill in the gap. it could be all porsalin or silver coated in porsalin wih the back in silver. you are looking at about $2000 for both crowns. depends on the dentist.
Have your dentist bond on tooth colored composite to the sides of each of the teeth. This will close the gap and no one will know it isn't real except you and the dental office. Probably will cost around $350.
