Any advice on tooth caps (needing to be redone/ other options?)?

Question:
I had My 2 frount teeth capped at 17 then got them redone later now another 14 years have passed they are wearing thin at the bottom(slightly transparent) so will need redoing in the future, trouble is the right side cap has had the socket damaged(due to knocks/bangs over time) Dentist says i cant have them recapped as the socket will not hold the replacement caps, so what advice/options were any of you Yahoo, ers given?any helpful advice would be most helpful.
Thanks

Answers:
You can have implants done in the front. You'd have to remove the tooth with the damages socket, and put in a dental implant. They are titanium rods that are anchored into the maxillary bone and caps are attached to abutments which are attached to the implants. However.. each set (implant, abutment, crown/cap) cost from $2500-3000. They will last your lifetime if you take care of them and are money well invested.
