How can you tell a canker sore is healing?

Question:

Answers:
Normally when I have a canker sore, I realize that is healing when it starts to numb and it doesn't cause such sharp, acute pain anymore. It will sort of feel like it has healed over inside your mouth, and when I have one, I often know it's going away because I forget about it without it hurting me so much anymore!

I hope it goes away soon, cankner sores are the worst!
It shouldn't last much longer than 10 days - 2 weeks. It depends on how big it is. The smaller ones will seem to heal right up, but those big sores, seem to take forever. Are you rinsing with really warm salt water? 2 tsp salt/ juice glass of water. Don't rinse the salt off with clear water. Just spit out.
