A white tongue usually indicates an over production of yeast or candidiasis. Some of the causes could be from smoking, having a very dry mouth or if you have too much sugar in your diet. See your physician for confirmation and treatment.
A white coating isn't normal. Brush your tongue when you brush your teeth. If the coating is thick and smells bad, try using some mouth wash. If it is painful, and develops blisters, it could be thrush. Contact your dentist.
yes we can stop this coating try to do brush regularly and if possible then do it twice a day and also use tongue cleaner.
A 'furry tongue' is a surprisingly common problem in people. The usual cause is smoking and drinking too much but you may have chronic oral thrush, which will cause such symptoms.
Some people have a furry tongue for no reason and clear it by scrubbing their tongue in exactly the same way they clean their teeth, with toothbrush and toothpaste.
However, it would be a good idea to see your GP and rule out thrush since if this is present it is easily cured with simple lozenges. Also, make sure you are drinking lots of water each day as simple dehydration may also have this effect.
