Orthodontics??

Question:
Okay I asked a question earlier. I have a removable expander that is making the sides of my mouth line up and everything, the annoying thing is I have a right lateral incisor thats too far back, and I think that has always what caused me to have a small gap in between my tooth, but one tooth that makes the gap is shifted a bit. the rest of my teeth are straight. What do you all think about this? Do expanders help overbites as I was told this by my dentist.

Answers:
Ive got expanders in right now, they don't come out and in the beginning as you manually turn the tighteners theres gaps in between the teeth. Over time as you decrease turning the mechanism that tightens the expanders, the gaps will close up and the gaps are least of problems while fixing your teeth. Gaps in the teeth are normal, if you think otherwise, consult your ortho.
