Am getting one of my top wisdom teeth extracted this week, What can I expect..I am very nervous!?

you can expect to feel some pulling and tuggin and sounds of maybe cracking. nonetheless you will feel no pain,some bleeding afterwards, sometimes people swell in the face, but that will go away, if you smoke stay away from it at least for a day and do not use a straw. take it easy that day and get some rest. the next day will be better
I haven't had my wisdom teeth pulled, nor a tooth pulled without numming shot.. but nitrous oxide will make you so out of it you won't care what's happening. ENJOY THE NITROUS. It's good.
haha i just got my wisdom teeth taken out like 3 days ago, and im 12. i got both bottom ones taken out, and it doesnt hurt that much. but ive heard that the top ones hurt a bit more. its okay though. to tell you the truth the thing that hurts is the needles. its going to hurt a little bit the day after and you wont be able to eat. well goooood luck!
I've had all four extracted, its not great fun, but you'll survive it. It's a part of life for allot of us, darn tooth doesn't serve any purpose anymore..lol, Oh you're being put under!? you lucky girl..I wasn't...I was moaning so loud one oral surgeon told me to be quiet as I might scare off the patients in the waiting room..lol. Just make sure to follow through on any post Op. instructions. There is something called a "dry socket" which I had twice as I recall.., hopefully you'll have no complications at all :~) wishing you the best!
you can expect to have questions about adult facial development and timing when to pull out the remaining wisdom teeth . you will need to not suck on anything for 2 weeks as a dry socket may occur by sucking to clot out that has a tendacy to cause extreme pain however not to worry the clot will cover all nerves and little discomfort will usually occur,try to allow your teeth to erupt completly then have the remaining wisdom removed or you may have the longaxis of your front teeth change as well they may get spaces between them as they move forward and create a bruxer the reason to allow teeth to come up is to make the adult skull fully develop then remove them after development ps dont be scared be knowlegable good luck
Call your dentist and see if you can have a prescription for some oral sedation medications to ease your apprehension. You take a pill the night before and two one hour before and bring any extra with you to your appointment in case. You will need a driver.
I can feel your apprehension and I would not want to have any teeth pulled w/o being put out or with oral sedation. Nitrous is nice, but I could not stand the sound of cracking bone in my ear. You will feel pressure, no pain. If you feel pain, please let your dentist know immediately. Good luck!
