Is it regular for a neighboring tooth to loosen during an extraction?

Is it normal for a neighboring tooth to slightly loosen during an extraction? Is near any cause to be alarmed? Will it regain stiffness on its own over time?

Don't worry, I will phone up the dentist again tomorrow.

Answers:    It may feel loose from pressure due to the extraction and the position the tooth come out at.... and it should also be ok.

:)
I don't know if it is 'normal' but it happened to me and it tightened up near time as they said it would. Good to call, but don't alarm even so.
